Currently he serves as the CEO for the Momentum Group’s Indian operations. Johan brings more than 24 years of experience in the insurance industry. Over the course of his career at Momentum, he has held several senior leadership roles, including Executive Head: Momentum Multiply and most recently, Executive Head: Solutions at Momentum Health. In 2016 Johan was appointed as the Head of Aditya Birla Wellness as part of two-and-a-half-year secondment, where he was part of the founding team of Aditya Birla Health. Johan is a strong proponent of client centric design and leveraging technology and analytics as part of innovative customer solutions. Johan is a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa and completed Business Leadership education at IMD Business School in Switzerland.

Anthon holds a BLC LLB and is admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa. He has further qualifications from Harvard Business School as well as the Saïd Business School – University of Oxford. He was the founder and co-founder of several successful start-ups in the healthcare and technology industries eventually ending up as CEO of Momentum Health Solutions. Up to 2025, he served as the CEO for the Momentum Group’s Indian operations.

Richard is a qualified Chartered Accountant (South Africa) by profession, having obtained his degree through the University of South Africa and an honours degree through the Rand Afrikaans University. He has over 25 years’ experience working in various financial positions in industries ranging from audit, media, and entertainment, to aerospace and insurance in London and Johannesburg. He is currently the CFO: Momentum India and serves as a director on various boards within the group. Richard was a recipient of the 2018 MMI Way Award.

Daniel has over 25 years consulting experience with extensive focus on technology services across multiple domains and an excellent track record in program and delivery management. He has a Master’s Degree in Managerial Sciences, Diploma in Business Management and Bachelors of Science (Chemistry) from Pune University, India. Daniel has been working on various assignments with Momentum Group business units since 2009 and officially joined the group in 2018. He currently serves on the board of directors and as the Chief Delivery Officer at Momentum Services.

Asokan is a South African qualified Chartered Accountant, CA (SA) and also holds a MBA. In 2004, He joined Momentum (now Momentum Group) as Group CFO and in 2008, was appointed CEO of Momentum New Markets. In 2011, he relocated to India and was instrumental in establishing an exciting joint venture with the renowned Aditya Birla Group of India. He is currently a director of the insurance regulated Aditya Birla Health Insurance Limited and of Aditya Birla Wellness Limited.
